So anyway, I don't even think I had finished hitting the "send" button on my e-mail when my cell phone rang. I was so upset and I had a feeling it was the doctor, but I did not answer. Then my home phone rang, but I didn't answer. A few minutes later my cell phone rang again, but I didn't get a chance to get to it, but finally my home phone rang again, and sure enough, it was Dr. Saleh. Here is a breakdown of our conversation.
- I am to wait until next cycle to begin BCP's so my body is not to over stimulated with meds. This should be by May 1, but no later than May 18.
- My CD3 FSH and E2 can be done either this cycle on CD2 (since CD3 falls on Sunday) or I can wait until next CD3, which I probably will do.
- Seeds--eggs/sperm: Since DH's SDIA was 22.5 rather than <15>100^), NO smoking, NO alcohol (max 1 per day) is to start Proceptin (2 to 3 months) with a dose of 2 caps BID until the week of June 11 (that's a total of 10 weeks if he begins on April 1--today, which he did).
- Soil--uterus: NK (pending); APA (pending with Millenova), but he sort of cheated, he said, and sent it in through Labcorp and it came up borderline abnormal. Nothing serious to worry about because it is something that can be treated with aspiring and/or heparin. He thinks it is possibly just an immune issue. He will wait until results come back from Millenova (I will redo bloodwork on April 9).
- November 20, 2006 he did a Hysteroscopy and it was normal so he is sure there is not a problem with the cavity. This test will not need to be redone.
- April 6 I will have a Uterine Mapping (Mock Transfer Trial) and we will sit down with them and finalize/sign all of the paperwork and put our deposit for the June 11 (CD9) cycle. We will also ask some other questions that are still pending.
- April 9 I will go back in to have NK and APA blood draw again.
It seems to me that people in this office are not communicating and are really sending the wrong message to their patients. It kind of makes me worry, but I know that they are the best here in town and probably nationwide, so I will continue with them. I just have to watch them, keep track of everything they tell me and ask lots and lots of questions.
